November, 2002: another battle for the Land Grant Trophy, an annual affair
between Sparty and the Nittany Lions. Larry Johnson, Jr. became
the ninth player to rush for 2,000 yards in a season in this game. He
rushed for over 250 yards in the first half as Penn State jumped out to
a 48-0 half time lead. It was the first time I ever saw JoePa pull the starters
in the first half. Damn, was it cold that day. |

room. Unfortunately, staying in a Holiday Inn Express last
night did not stop this ridiculous behavior. Fortunately,
Mike has regained the use of all body parts after getting
run over in anger 31 seconds after this picture was taken.
