6, 2003: this game sucked. However, I had a really good time
tailgating. Ran into some friends from Bermuda, and met John
Leinaweaver and his wife. Clem's BBQ is pure manna. |

- We
had planned on eating dinner at Fat Bob's Smokehouse in
Buffalo. It was filled, so we ate on the road instead. I do
need a zoom lens.
- I
took this photo because I can never remember where the hell
we tailgate in Buffalo. Here it is for posterity.
- Beer
+ 45 minutes = piss break.
- The
day starts early, with Colin cracking a beer for breakfast.
- Chris
decides on a heartier breakfast, mixing tylenol with beer.
- My
breakfast consisted of a pulled pork sandwich from Clem's
BBQ. It also served as my lunch, dinner and lunch
afterwards. Awesome, awesome BBQ.
- Colin
shows why he was a fullback.
- Chris
shows why he played on the lines.
- Beaver
Stadium early in the morning. Fog tends to lift for football
games in Happy Valley.
- Our
little tailgate.
- Met
Brenda and John all the way from Oregon, hence the ugly cap
on John's head.
- Beaver
Stadium, the inside view.
- Another
shot of the band. The best performance on the field that
day.
- Here
come the Lions!
- Here's
Rich, also from Bermuda. I wasn't the only pussy who ran
from Fabian.
- Kevin
also escaped from Fabian's wrath.
- Tom
and his dad. Tom used to live in Bermuda, and he'd come over
and we'd watch football. He's now around Philly.
- Colin
started early and finished early.
- Note
the skill which Colin employs in not spilling beer while
passed out.
- Colin
remained very stoic. We soon dipped his hand in some warm
water, which he did NOT appreciate.
- It
is always good to tailgate next to three hot women.
- Mount
Nittany. Note how tall my shadow is.
- The
tailgate is winding up.
- Silhouette
of Beaver Stadium. This photo was taken prior to the next
one. This displays my inability as a photographer.
- Beaver
Stadium, the view from the north.
- Sunset
in Happy Valley. I love taking photos as I drive.
